Kitchen Supervisor

Battle Abbey School requires a Kitchen Supervisor to participate in the catering provision as agreed with the Catering Manager.
You will work for 7 hours per day (7am-2pm) for 34 term time weeks and for 5 hours a day for 2 days per week during the holidays, supervising catering provision at the Prep School and Nursery, at a rate of £11 per hour.
Experience would be an advantage.
Some of your duties will include;
• To delegate and participate in the production of food items in line with the day’s menu or with batch baking where appropriate
• To delegate and participate in the care and the cleaning of the kitchen areas, dining room and equipment as required
• To delegate and serve meals, and to give attention to tables if necessary
• To order catering provision inline with day-to-day menus and events.
• To assist with the maintenance of quality standards within the catering department
• Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Catering Manager
