Doosan Digital Information Europe (DDIE) provides total IT Services to Doosan affiliates in EMEA. Since its establishment in the UK in 2014, DDIE is currently supporting over 200 applications and 5000 users in the UK, Czech R, UAE, Poland, Germany, Ireland, France & Belgium.
We are looking for a confident leader with excellent communication skills to join our customer focused DDIE team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the product roadmap of a custom Manufacturing Execution System: a C#.Net application with an MSSQL backend.
As Application Lead you will provide direction to a team of developers and Level 2 Support analyst; you will engage directly with end users and senior business stakeholders, devise solutions and set objectives for the team of MES Developers, provide oversight and governance of development processes and controls including coding, testing, and deployment, contribute when required with hands-on development of C# code and SQL database changes to enhance, extend, and improve on features of the application deployed in a high-paced manufacturing facility in Central Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide long term vision for product roadmap
* Design, build, test, and deploy technical solutions to support a high-paced manufacturing facility
* Plan, deliver, and supervise system configuration and documentation tasks
* Solve complex business problems in the areas of manufacturing sector using C#.Net technologies
* Act as escalation point for Incident Management process
* Manage the successful delivery of a work-stream or projects to achieve revenue targets and high levels of customer satisfaction
* Combine fresh thinking and insight to identify additional consulting opportunities and shape innovative business propositions for new and existing clients
Essential Experience:
* Extensive experience of application development
* Fluent knowledge of .NET/C# (.NET 4.x), WPF, WinForms, WCF
* Expertise in all areas of Application Lifecycle and Software Development Life Cycle including;Requirements Management, Programming, Testing, Release Management
Preferred Experience:
* Working experience of Software in a Manufacturing Environment, including SCADA systems and interfacing
* Line Management experience in a Software Development environment
This role will be responsible for projects within the EMEA region, and travel will be required based on business needs (subject to COVID restrictions as applicable).
