Job Description
The Lead Mobile Developer role is a key in delivering the roadmap of consumer facing application. This is an important team with the company in ensuring that our app stays in line / ahead of our competitors.
You will lead a dedicated team to deliver a quality react native app, that’s quick to market, constantly adds new value to the consumer and has a high standard of quality.
You will work with the platform and integrations teams to ensure that the app can function with the various other products.
Key Tasks:

Lead the mobile app development process, setting standards and guiding and mentoring mobile developers

Be self motivated and proactive in picking up development tasks through to completion while:
oCollaborating with other developers in successful build, test and release of mobile products
oCollaborating with designers, testers and the larger software & hardware engineering teams
·Ensuring that any 3rd party integrations are kept up to date, including the react native framework
·Create app builds for members of the business (QA, Product, Design, etc) to test / review
·Realse app builds to production across Google Play and Apple App stores
·Write and manintain unit tests for core application logic
·Ensure development testing is complete across multiple devices and operating systems before handing over to QA
·Incorporate end user feedback into the development process
·Contribute towards the peer review process
·Collaborating with other teams in the business
·Identifying areas for improvement and refactoring
Training L&D
·Mentoring other Software Engineers
·Pair and/or mob programming
·Research into future technology and framework changes
Management Information and Documentation
·Manging the update of 3rd party codebases and frameworks
·Writing and maintaining technical and non-technical documents
·Keep software ticket information up to date and accurately representing tasks
