DK is proud to be working with a leading HA in the South West who is looking to recruit a Lead Repairs Scheduler to join their Repairs Division.
As the Lead Repairs Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in managing their scheduling team and ensuring the effective allocation of resources to support field operatives.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as the initial point of contact for customers regarding property maintenance and general repairs, delivering efficient, knowledgeable, and professional assistance.
* Effectively handle repair inquiries, gathering comprehensive and accurate information to properly diagnose the required work before assigning it to trade operatives.
* Generate repair orders using the repairs system, schedule work for trade operatives, and prioritise repairs based on urgency, trade skills, and location to optimize resource utilisation.
* Plan diaries at least two weeks in advance, ensuring maximum efficiency, productivity, and optimal use of skills while considering travel time.
* Maintain ongoing communication with operatives to manage workload allocation and schedule jobs requiring follow-up appointments.
* Monitor the allocation and progress of work orders to subcontractors, adhering to procurement procedures, and meeting specified timelines and service standards.
* Timely and accurately enter all repair activity information into the system.
* Ensure that all operatives have a full schedule, proactively seeking alternative work from the backlog when there are gaps in the schedule
