The Commercial Contracts Executive position will provide contract support to the LexisNexis Risk Solutions Insurance business. The role will work as part of the Client Engagement team to ensure compliance with commercial contract terms and conditions. The role holder will collaborate closely with the legal team to providing credible and trustworthy guidance to the business.

* Provide basic level commercial advice and interpretation of contractual requirements under the supervision of more senior level colleagues

* Perform routine and recurring contract administrative assignments such as:

* compiling, reviewing, and preparing standard contract documents (including Orders, Amendments, Schedules, and Appendices)

* attendance at regular internal governance meetings (including Deal Review Board)

* ownership for record keeping of meetings attended and tracking of governance decisions made (including Risk and Pricing Committees)

* oversee the use of tools used in commercial contracts governance (DocuSign, Contract Approval, DRB Minutes, trackers of contracts and Data Analysis Agreement reporting), ensuring the contract execution process progresses smoothly and in a timely fashion

* having sight of a shared legal email inbox, storage of contracts and contract indexing; and

* creating and managing process mapping for commercial contract related activities like approval processes, execution of documentation and hardcopy document management.

* Responsible for the creation and timely completion of a fortnightly matters and priorities report to update the wider business on priority matters and work allocated.

* Support the legal team in compiling responses to inquiries from regulatory authorities, customers and the wider sales, product and business community

* Manage the document refresh process twice yearly, to modify template contract schedules for new products and contract template amendments

* Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualifications / work experience

* Proven success interacting, influencing and working with multiple functional areas; both internal and external.

* Has built successful working relationships; demonstrated expertise, commitment and follow-through

* Performs well in high pressure environment, balancing competing priorities with strong commitment to delivering results

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to effectively manage workloads and handle multiple issues concurrently

* Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Confluence, MS Teams and Powerpoint
