We are recruiting for a Criminal Legal Assistant to work for a large well established legal practice based in Telford. This role will be working as part of a small team, where the senior team members are likely to be off site regularly to attend hearings, so your role will be to continue provide support to clients to ensure they continue to get a top quality service and support at all times.
Your duties will include:
* Client enquiry calls
* Preparing trial bundles
* Liaising with Counsel, Experts and Courts
* Opening client files
* Drafting correspondence, letters, memos, file notes
* General administration tasks
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will be someone looking for a career in Law, previous experience is not necessarily essential but would be advantageous. You must also be IT literate and have excellent communication skills. It is vitally important that you are a dynamic and driven individual who is keen to prove their ability to go the extra mile. As you would imagine, great attention to detail and organisational skill will be essential for this role. You will need to be able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
