The Firm
Our client, a leading full-service law firm based in Bromley is seeking a Legal Secretary to join their well established and highly regarded property team.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will act as a workflow manager for other support services including delegating and supervising the completion of document production, file management and copying/scanning work. Providing exceptional service levels to both clients and lawyers whilst ensuring you have excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach. Duties to include:
Managing diaries, ensuring they are up to date and reminding Lawyers of meetings etc.
Arranging meetings, booking conference rooms and liaising with other attendees
Photocopying, printing, organising couriers, sending out of letters, faxes etc.
Opening/closing of files, supervise general filing requirements and record keeping
Supporting Lawyers in marketing activities
Taking internal and external telephone queries, responding as appropriate
Liaising with other Business Support departments on behalf of lawyers as required
Entering, maintaining and updating client details and relevant information
Dealing with basic client queries and general administration
Typing urgent/short/confidential correspondence and emails
Producing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets as required
Assisting Lawyers in the billing and credit control process
Requesting cheques, bank transfers and paying in money receivedThis is a 6 month fixed term contract role, working Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
