Family Solicitor HOD opportunity in Essex

A rare and amazing opportunity has arisen for a Family Solicitor (3 years’ PQE+) to join the expanding and dynamic Family Department for a forward-thinking and reputable Essex based firm.
The successful candidate can expect a high level of autonomy and responsibility from the outset as they will be heading up the Family Department and generating new business. The ideal candidate would be 3 years + PQE, ambitious and seeking genuine career progression as there is potential for future Directorship.
The role will involve the following:
* Handling a mixed caseload of family law-related matters namely, divorce, separation; cohabitation; civil partnership disputes, children issues, ancillary relief and financial matters
* Dealing effectively with clients and third parties over the telephone, in written correspondence and face to face, to provide advice and assistance
* Assisting in business development and working with the rest of the team to develop new opportunities and communicating our message to attract new clients. This will range from writing articles for the website and publications to attending business networking events and even public speaking.
