Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £50000 – £75000/annum
We have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified solicitor to join the busy and growing corporate and commercial team doing top quality corporate work.
You'll be working alongside highly rated solicitors and partners and ongoing support and training will be provided together with the ability to work flexibly.
You will be part of a team that will be thinking on their feet and adapting smartly to changes and new opportunities whilst working on top quality legal work.
We are keen to speak with energetic individuals looking to make a difference. Any successful candidate will have, as a minimum, excellent academics, attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
As a corporate and commercial solicitor your role would include:
* Working on all aspects of a varied caseload of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, MBO’s and share schemes.
* Advising clients on corporate governance matters.
* Advising on commercial contracts and terms of business.
* Advising partners on opportunities to add value to the client experience and improve profitability for the team.
* Supervising junior members of the team, with the aim of maximising the teams overall contribution and performance.
* Assisting with business development and marketing initiatives.
