New Business Advisor

Salary :
Sue Ross legal are working with a leading law firm in the recruitment of a New Business Advisor.
The successful candidate will be first point of contact for all Business Legal Services enquiries, you will be able to forge rapport with potential and existing clients to sell our legal services in a professional and engaging manner, you will be responsible for client experience from the first point of contact until the client is signed up and the file is transferred over to the relevant legal team.
You will deal with new matter instructions and amend legal correspondence, support the rest of the shared services team as required including general administrative work, and document production.
Duties:
* Support a specialised caseload.
* Deliver high standards of client care and a first-class customer experience.
* Work commercially which is reflected through the teams’ outcomes.
* Work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Achieve and deliver key outcomes both for the client and the firm.
* Competent system use, in order to achieve set personal targets alongside the team’s overarching objective.
* The ability to build strong relationships with clients and therefore obtain commitment.
* Obtaining all relevant details of a prospective client’s matter to produce a quotation and documentation to sign the client up to our services.
* Demonstrate knowledge of our service and the portal, by providing 1-2-1 support to the client and third parties
* Providing support via telephony and written correspondence to existing and potential clients when completing the documentation.
* Calling prospective clients as soon as possible within required service standards and proactively support the client at various stages of the on-boarding process through to completion.
* Working independently as well as collaboratively, to prioritise work in the most efficient way.
* Maintain client files and diary tasks using the firms’ systems.
* Document conversations and store all correspondence for audit purposes.
* Work in accordance with SLA’s.
To be considered for this role, you must have a Law degree, or similar legal work experience. You will be a confident, and enthusiastic individual, and possess excellent customer service/ client care skills.
Required skills and experience:
* High standard of IT skills including Outlook, Word, report writing tools and other relevant legal software.
* Excellent time management, organisational and client service skills.
* Ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment. A flexible and adaptable team player who supports, promotes, develops and motivates others.
* Highly motivated, proactive and outcome-orientated with a can-do attitude.
* Customer service background.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience of handling customer/client enquires on either the telephone or face to face.
* Strong influencing, negotiating and objection handling skills.
* Excellent levels of customer service.
* Ability to present relevant information to management in a concise manner.
* Proficiency in handling multiple enquiries and managing own time to ensure all enquiries fully pursued.
* A background within service handling for example Legal services, financial services, claims management or other professional backgrounds an advantage.
