Remortgage Case Handler
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £18499 – £18500/annum Salary DOE
Our client based in Bromley are seeking a Case Handler to join their team. The successful candidate will run their own caseload of remortgage cases. Candidates must have full knowledge of the remortgage process to be considered for this role.
Duties include;
* Carrying out legal investigations on the title of property relating to each case
* Identify issues which may prevent them from being good and marketable
* Address and deal with any issues which arise and report any issues to the client for further instructions, as well as offering recommendations on how to proceed
* Check as many tittles as possible per day
* Check official copies and plans and be able to address sand identify any issues
* Request, interpret and deal with provisional and financial redemption statements
* Understand mortgage offers and be able to identify and advise on any relevant conditions
* Carry out Land Registry searches and deal with any issues which may arise
* Check legal titles and deal with any queries and/or discrepancies
* Deal with restrictions, cautions and unilateral notices
* Understand and be able to competently deal with Deeds of Postponements
* Request OS1 and deal with it when received
* When obtaining priority searches ensure that the relevant date from the last office copy is provided and priority is given against the correct lender
