Andy File Associates Limited are working on behalf of their client as a Recruitment Agency with regards this permanent vacancy.
Our client, a long established general legal practice have a vacancy in their Doncaster office for a Head of Department to run their Criminal Law division. You will need to be a Criminal Law Solicitor and qualified to go on the duty solicitor rota. This role comes with a very healthy existing caseload and the chance to head up a department and a team that has great opportunities for further growth.
The Role:
* Covering all aspects of work from police station attendances, magistrates court advocacy etc.
* Providing high standards of service to clients
* Providing advice and advocacy within the Courts
* Liaising with clients
* Managing a caseload and ongoing work coming into the department
Experience required
* Qualified Solicitor with experience in practicing Criminal Law
* Duty accreditation
* Experience managing a small team within the department
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong organisational, multitasking and time management skills
* Good advocacy skills
