Purpose of the role
As a Class 1 Driver operating from Banbury, this role services a wide variety of Company and Contract farms, both within the Breeder and Broiler Division.
key responsibilities will include:
* Delivering feed safely to the farms whilst maintaining Health and Safety standards at all times
* Following the security requirements of your load at all times
* To make certain that working hours meet the required standards
* Ensuring the correct protective equipment provided is being worn continually
* Working effectively within the time schedules so that all necessary farms can be serviced
* Reporting any vehicle issues
* Presenting a professional image of the Company on all farms and acting as Company representative liaising with site manager as required
What we are looking for:
* You will hold a C+E license, in date CPC and Tacho card
* You will have Class 1 driving experience
* You will be self-motivated, with an honest work ethic, and have the ability to be flexible as the role requires
As an LGV 1 Driver role is hands-onand involves a number of manual processes including lifting equipment in the region of 25kgs.
Normal working hours for a Mill Driver working nights are as follows:
The typical hours for the role are 50 hours per week Sunday – Friday night. 5 out of 6 nights, 1 rotating night off)
