Maintenance Driver
Job Type : Permanent, Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £13/hour
Our client offers a bespoke and unique service, installing and maintaining ceremonial flags and flagpoles across the UK. They have an exciting opportunity to work in prestigious and high-profile locations such as Government buildings and Royal establishments. The successful applicant will need to undertake a security and vetting process.
Responsibilities:
* Installing flagpoles on the ground, from the side of buildings and on rooftops
* Driving a company vehicle
* Working at height with cherry pickers and harnesses
* Painting or cleaning to improve cosmetic appearance of flagpoles
* Doing safety checks to ensure working parts are in good order
* Replacing internal mechanisms
* Undertaking close-up visual inspections of flags and the poles
* Liaising with colleagues and members of the public
* Working Monday to Friday with occasional weekend overtime
Essential Skills / Experience:
* Working at height
* Full, manual driving licence
* A good team player
* The ability to work with little supervision
* A kind, confident and professional character
* Reliable and a good timekeeper
* The ability to build strong working relationships
