Maintenance Technician – mechanical & electrical

Salary : £30000 – £35000/annum
We currently offer an exciting opportunity to join a successful multi-sited producer of Fresh Produce, with an impressive state of the art 12.5 hectare glasshouse based in beautiful Suffolk.
The position of Maintenance Technician will take responsibility for mechanical and electrical tasks across the site, incorporating Health & Safety and to include;
Working with suppliers (+ a co-located energy plant (heat & CO2) to build relationships to ensure successful servicing, parts, and projects.
Managing the day to day production issues, liaising with the Director of Horticulture and Manager’s to successfully resolve.
Positively manage a dedicated maintenance team.
Maintain machinery to include;
automated picking trolleys
tipping machines
electrical forklifts
irrigation rigs
reverse osmosis
heating systems
We require;
Experience gained within Mechanical and Electrical maintenance
Ability to work with and manage diverse international teams
Fresh Produce or Food Manufacturing exposure beneficial
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Good communication ability across all levels
Salary; £30-35k DOE
