Management Apprenticeship Tutor
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000/annum Rising to £32,000 after probation
We are delighted to be working with one of our long term clients in sourcing an Apprenticeship Tutor to deliver Management level 5 and Team leader level 3 for their office in Melton, Suffolk.
The successful candidate will have experience working in Team Leader and Managerial positions. Ideally, the individual will also be a qualified assessor/tutor, however, our client is happy to train the candidate if needed by completing their assessing qualifications.
The client, a successful and growing Apprenticeship provider, are specialists within Management Apprenticeships and have clients across the UK. The role will be office based (Melton, Suffolk) with visits to clients workplaces when ocasionally required. The majority of the courses are currently being delivered remotely.
Key Responsibilities
– Completing all funding and quality sign up paperwork
– Maintaining delegate training accounts on online systems and planning/allocating work along the delegate’s journey
– Supporting delegates, collating evidence relevant to their qualification aims
– Preparing delegates for End Point Assessment
– Carrying out delegate and employer reviews
– Completing tutorials
– Support delivery of training workshops relating to apprenticeship programmes
– Marking of assignments, as allocated, meeting cohort deadlines
– Promoting best practice within design and delivery of apprenticeship programmes, developing support aids for delegates and employers
– Deliver in-line with organisational and Ofsted quality assurances including teaching, learning and completion of delegates
– Supporting the administration of the apprenticeship programmes including the delegates learning files to ensure progress can be demonstrated
Skills, Experience & Behaviour Required
– Experience working with the Level 3 Team Leading standard, including supporting delegates through the End Point Assessment process
– Experience of working in a middle/senior management role
– Able to manage own time effectively to meet client and delegate needs; ability to proactively problem solve and develop multiple approaches to support delegates
– Strong working knowledge of apprenticeships, supported by maintenance of regular CPD
– Good communicator – able to use different styles and methods to engage delegates
– Hold, or be prepared to work towards a relevant assessing qualification
– Competent in the use of relevant IT systems including MS Word/Excel/PP, e-portfolios and remote presentation software (e.g. Zoom/MS Teams)
– Able to work effectively as part of a team to deliver a seamless service to our clients
