Role Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our Robot build team. You will be responsible for carrying out the mechanical assembly of our robot systems and their ancillaries, working to the correct engineering drawings and specifications. Assemblies are to be completed on time and to the expected quality standard. Knowledge should be used to identify potential issues and implement corrective action to eliminate any re-occurrence.
What will you be doing?
* Mechanical assembly of Robots and their ancillaries
* Assembling products to a high standard and to projected completion dates
* Workshop to operate in a clean, tidy and organised environment
* Using experience and knowledge to identify faults and eliminate reoccurrences
* Rework and/or repairing assembled products according to engineering specification changes.
What are we looking for?
* An engineering background, preferably in an automotive environment
* Proven experience with a small production and/or assembly team
* Demonstrable mechanical component assembly experience
* Computer literacy and a sound understanding of the Office 365 suite
* Knowledge or understanding of tolerances
