A very reputable organisation within the processing and packaging industry are looking to recruit 2 Mechanical Fitters / Engineers initially on a 3 Month Contract with the potential to be extended or even go permanent. The Mechanical Fitter / Engineer will be required to build machines, complete some assembly work as well as work predominately on Pneumatics, Belts, Bearings and Chains. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter / Engineer to work for a very well organised business and potentially have the opportunity to gain permanent employment.
Skills required for an Mechanical Fitter / Engineer:
Ideally, you will hold a NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or hold a Mechanical Apprenticeship.
Worked within a Workshop, Field Service or Mechanical Manufacturing environment.
A keen eye for detail.
A working knowledge of reading and understanding mechanical drawings.
A sound knowledge of pneumatics.
The use of manual handling equipment where required is essential.
Hands on approach to problem solving.
Good communication and basic computer skills.
