We are looking for someone to play a key role in the technical production of content for the Confetti Media Group family of companies. You will have high standards and an enthusiastic and conscientious attitude towards your work.

In this role, you will:

* Be responsible for the maintenance and operation of equipment used to create and deliver programming and live event broadcasts for Notts TV, Metronome, Confetti X, Nottingham Trent University and more.

* Play a key role in the production of media assets and further initiatives to assist both internal and external clients.

* Use your expertise to advise and guide students and staff within the Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies on best use and care of production equipment.

The type of content produced is varied and will range from single camera shoots on location, to multi-camera live broadcasts of esports events, and everything in between.

You will have:

* Knowledge and experience with video cameras, lighting, and grip

* A good working knowledge of audio systems and microphones used in media production is also required.

* Experience of video editing

* A good understanding of video codecs and rendering formats

* Experience working with virtual production techniques, incorporating unreal engine and LED volume would be highly desirable.

Your skills will ideally include:

* Vision mixing & directing

* Vision & racking engineering

* Audio visual cable making

* An understanding of production and broadcast workflows, with specific focus on streaming and content delivery platforms.

* A solid understanding of general A/V, an analytical approach to technical problem solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
