About Our Client
Our client is leading supplier of new and used service tractors, Aviation GSE and Fire and Rescue vehicle and equipment for both sale and hire. Operating across the UK they are now seeking an experienced Mobile Service Technician / Engineer to work with them, covering the Goole, East Yorkshire area.
Job Description
Experienced Mobile Service Engineer / HGV Technician. The job will entail diagnostic work, defects, general maintenance and servicing of a large customer base, mainly at Supermarket Distribution Centres, Airports and Ports. You will be supplied a company van (business use only). You will receive your work schedule on a Friday for the following week.
The Successful Applicant
Technical Qualification or proven experience of repairing and maintaining vehicles LGV / HGV Technical / Mechanical Engineer qualifications (REME), 2 or 3 NVQ level, IMI Level or City & Guilds.
Happy to work outside and is all weather conditions, however some clients have undercover facilities.
Happy to work alone
The ability to work under pressure, actively seek solutions to problems and having the flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks are all key attributes.
Ability to communicate effectively within your team and manage internal relationship to deliver required information in a timely clear manor.
All works must be accurate and consistent adhering to all processes and procedures
What's on Offer
Pay rate: £38kpa basic, plus call-outs and overtime when needed (£42kpa OTE).
Company Van & Fuel Card: Yes, for business use only
Hours: 48 hours per week – 4on and 4off shift pattern
Holidays: 28 days including statutory
Pension: 6% employer, 5% employee
Benefit: Group Life Cover (death in service) 3x annual salary.
