we are currently recruiting for ambitious hard working multi-skilled chefs to join our clients busy Aviation Operation based just outside Heathrow.
With a busy and fast paced working environment we are looking for experienced chefs that can use there array of experience and knowledge to adapt and be able to utilise there skill set to array of dishes , tasks set by our client.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Identifying opportunities to improve our food services
* Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
To plan and control within limits imposed by the company, the preparing, cooking and assembly of all food including VIP food and ensure that high quality airline meals are produced on time and according to airline specifications and to ensure that HACCP systems are followed.
* To maintain and control good housekeeping within the kitchen, including the chiller and freezer temperature records.
* Prepare all food items as directed in a clean,tidy and timely manner.
* Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
* Ensure the staff food provision is monitored and delivered to an acceptable standard.
* Ability to operate all the kitchen equipment in a safe and proper manner.
* Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards.
* Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment.
* Practice good personnel hygiene at all times.
* Report all accidents to the Unit Manager.
Schedule – Required to suit operational demands and will include early, lates and sometimes nights.
8 hour shifts
Experience:
* Culinary: 2 years (required)
