Salary : £10.39 – £11.14/hour

This role begins with a three to six month contract and can be extended for longer with for right candidate.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, a mixture of morning and afternoon shifts averaging at 24 Hours per week.

You would be paid an hourly rate of £10.39ph for the first 12 weeks.

The role of a NHS Catering Supervisor involves:

* The hygienic handling of food products in accordance with food hygiene legislation and the Trust Food Safety Policy (HACCP)

* Observation of statuary and trust food hygiene regulations

* Supervision of Catering Assistants.

* Compiling of duty rotas and the allocation of work to Catering Assistants.

* Ensuring the observance and compliance of health and safety regulations and best working practices

* To ensure that the cleaning of designated catering areas are in line with work schedules, policy and legislation.

* Assist in the development of work schedules and cleaning rotas

* Driving licence (Photo card, must be valid) – provisional accepted – If you don't have this you will need to be able to provide 2 instead of 1 of the following proofs of address.

* Proof of Address. This can be any of the following: tenancy agreement, council tax bill, bank statement, any utility bills, HMRC tax code notification, landline phone bill, multimedia package bill. Mobile phone bills are NOT accepted. ALL proofs of address must be dated in the last 12 weeks (apart from a council tax bill, which must be dated within the last 12 months).
