Nursery Cook

Salary : £10/hour
Nursery Cook required to cater for young children in a medium sized early years setting (approximately 60 place) in the Knutsford area.
MUST HAVE FORMAL CATERING EXPERIENCE WITHIN A NURSERY, SCHOOL OR CARE HOME

Full or Part time hours – min 30 hours a week to 35 (core hours 8am until 2pm)
£10 per hour

Level 2 or above Food & Hygiene or equivalent.
Experience of catering in either a Nursery, School, or Care Home

Responsible and reliable attitude – children need to eat each day!
A caring and kind personality – warm towards the children
Strong adherence to allergens and allergen awareness
Strict attitude to food safety, food hygiene and cleanlinessWhat is involved:
Preparing and catering lunch for approx 60 children daily from an existing menu plan.
Responsible for stock levels, budget control and ordering of stock.
Ensuring cleanliness of kitchen at all time.
