The job
The Operations Excellence Manager will provide operational expertise and support to restaurants related to new store openings, product launches, updates, operational training, customer feedback, and targeted operational concerns.
You will build strong relationships with franchise management, responding quickly to operational needs, and always following up with answers, information, and resources.
Essential duties:
* Oversee the training and development strategy & programs.
* Develop and maintain all operations training materials such as restaurant training tools.
* Support the training and opening of new stores.
* Work with the training team to ensure best practice – adapting training materials, tools and techniques as required.
* Work with field operations on continuous improvement of the customer experience.
* Assist in the development, delivery and rollout of new products, promotions, technology, operational programs, and procedures.
You will travel regularly in your role throughout China (between Beijing and Shanghai) or South Korea.
Your experience
* Experience in group restaurant operations management.
* A background working for an international fast-food or QSR (quick service restaurant) brand preferred.
* Experience in providing training and operational expertise.
* Degree educated in a related field preferred.
* Ability to travel up to 25%-50%.
* Languages – fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin) and/or Korean.

This is a home-based role with travel. The successful candidate will ideally live in China (Shanghai or Beijing) or South Korea (Seoul).
The annual salary is $60,000 USD which equates to 388,866 Chinese Yuan (CNY).
