Salary: £43,000 – £48,000 (Dependent upon experience) + an annual bonus of £10,000 based upon KPI set targets

Hours per week: Monday to Friday – Flexible working Pattern based upon business needs – 40 hours per week
Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and driven Operations Manager to join our Catering team within our Catering division. This role will be based in and around the Southeast.
The role will be managing the following:
1 Client Group (11 sites – Managed by a Group Manager)
1 Client Group (5 Sites)
6 Direct Report Sites
You will have the following direct reports:
1 x Operation Support Manager
11 x Chef/Catering Managers
1 x Group Manager
The Candidate will also be responsible for delivering an outstanding service to our clients, The Operations Manager will report to the UK Catering Business Director.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering our outstanding food and drink offering to our clients and site visitors.
What are the main responsibilities of the role?
Seamless transfer and mobilisation of new contracts.
Practical training of transferring teams to achieve consistent sustainable company and client objectives.
Assist with the delivery of training to include Company Induction, Basic Food Hygiene, Basic Health & Safety, COSHH and other training as required.
Client, customer, and supplier liaison.
Have the day-to-day responsibility for quality performance on the various contract with respect to Catering provisions.
Assist in the management and monitoring of the operation of the contract and ensure compliance with the contract specification.
Respond to any reasonable request of the company or clients.
Apply quality control procedures to ensure the maintenance of high standards of service.
Assist in effective management within budgetary constraints.

A background in contract catering is essential.
Food Safety Level 3 would be an advantage.
Excellent knowledge of health and safety and food safety.
Excellent communication and customer service skills as you will be interacting with the customer base and onsite clients.
A real passion for food and service, with the ability to prepare and cook good quality seasonal food.
