The Opportunity
Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working with a close friend of the firm and small but well-respected independent firm of surveyors based just outside of Botley who are looking to recruit a rounded Part-time Administrator to join their team on a Monday.
As Part-time Administrator, you will be responsible for assisting the wider administrative team and Managing Director, who is often out of the office, with all of the day-to-day telephone calls and emails coming into the business. Monday is one of the busiest days for the business and in this role duties will include diary management, communicating with customers and clients over the telephone and via email, scanning legal documents, maintaining relationships with local estate agencies and law firms and other ad hoc duties too.
Being a small business, it is really important that the successful candidate is confident managing their own administrative workload and picking up duties to support the wider team but equally able to ‘wear many hats’ and manage all day-to-day enquiries at their offices.
The Part-time Administrator vacancy is very well-suited to a candidate who is super organised with a small business mentality and has an interest in property but also, the ability to work autonomously. Whilst our client prides themself on creating a really nice place to work and have a great track record in the local area, there will be long periods of time that you will be alone in the office so the confidence to manage enquiries is vital.

Requirements
* Experience of excelling within an administrative job that requires strong communication skills
* The ability to manage a varied workload, multitask and also prioritise projects autonomously
* A high attention to detail and proven track record of working in a detail-focused environment
* Well presented with a professional demeanour
* Due to their relatively remote office, the successful candidate must hold a Full UK Driving license or live very locally
