Hours: 9:30am until 1:30pm Monday to Friday

Polytec are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant for our Cambridge based client starting 20th January 2025. You will be assisting with lunch service, operating a till and maintaining a clean and tidy break out area.

Responsibilities:

* Preparing and serving hot food
* Provide lunches and refreshments to staff, meeting rooms and small conferences
* Maintain high level of hygiene standards
* Clean down after service
* Assist and supervise catering at functions and events
* Keep break out area clean and tidy
* Use of dishwashers and washing up by hand

Requirements:

* Excellent customer care
* You will need to be able to cook hot meals
* Previous experience in a similar catering/hospitality environment
* Good initiative
* Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (preferred but not essential)
* Some heavy lifting is involved
