Salary : £19000 – £21000/annum Salary + 33 Day Holiday
c£20,0000 Flexible Salary for 20 hours per week Monday to Friday 10am to 2pm.
We are looking for a Cook/Chef to prepare and serve meals to parties of c.6 to 10 people, working 4 hours per day Monday to Friday, this is a fully employed role including generous pay bonus and holidays.
Based in our Head Office you will plan, prepare, serve meals for our directors and important visitors, we are ideally looking for someone looking for a long term move, ideally for the next 10 to 15 years or more.
You will be working with the best quality ingredients and will have a current range of menus to work with but also, we would welcome fresh ideas of healthy tasty meals to bring to the table. The meals will be two course and could be starter and Main or Main and Desert.
This is a very rewarding and secure position for someone with the skills and interest in food and delivering a quality tasty menu. The role could suit someone with commercial experience or a confident cook with a real passion for food able to deliver quality good “Home Cooked food” with a good eye for presentation, so it looks as good as it tastes.
Duties:
– Prepare and cook and serve meals for small groups of 6 to 10 people
– Plan menus based on clients' preferences and dietary restrictions
– Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
Experience:
– Proven experience as a private chef or a passion for Cooking
– Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
– Ability to create diverse and flavorful menus
– Familiarity with different dietary restrictions and ability to accommodate them
– Excellent time management and organizational skills
– Ability to work independently and take initiative in the kitchen
