The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a reliable, experienced individual with a friendly and caring nature to work as a Cook at our fast-paced Care home in Littlehampton, West Sussex.
Our Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an experienced individual who has the passion, skills, and experience to cater for our clients at our care home. You will be aware of basic food hygiene practices and implement these on a daily basis. You must work to set menus and have the creativity to recreate menus based on the likes and preferences from our clients.
A responsible and caring attitude is important. You will work in friendly but sometimes challenging environments, therefore excellent interaction and communication skills are essential.
Duties and experience required:
* Previous experience is essential and further in-house training will be provided
* Plan and freshly prepare meals for clients
* Cooking nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements
* Order stocks, check deliveries and maintain accurate records of food supplies
* Adhere to health and hygiene practices
Working Hours – 16 hours per week
9:30am – 6pm, working on a rolling rota with a 30 minute unpaid break.

Week 1: Thurs, Fri
Week 2: Sat, Sun
