Part Time Receptionist
Location: East Molesey
Salary: £22-24,000 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: Monday to Friday 1:00pm to 5:30pm
Key Responsibilities of a Receptionist
• To keep the reception area tidy and to operate the main switchboard.
• To answer and transfer incoming telephone calls to the relevant employees.
• To take messages when requested and pass on to the relevant employees or if at director level his PA, as appropriate.
• To open incoming post and distribute to relevant departments if post-delivery is late.
• To greet guests arriving at the office, ensure they sign in; notify the relevant employee of their arrival.
• To assist with general administrative tasks i.e. copy typing, arranging couriers, booking meeting rooms, franking of evening post.
• To carry out and fulfil such other tasks and duties normally and reasonably expected of a receptionist in an office environment.
Key Competencies of a Receptionist
• Strong commuication skills both written and verbal
• Punctual and Reliable
• Self-motivated and Confident
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
• Excellent Organisational skills
• Excelllent telephone manner
• Flexible to cover holiday (20 mornings per year) for the morning receptionist who works 8.15am – 1.00pm Monday to Friday.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word & Outlook.
