Salary : £25740/annum plus service charge 5K, Paid OT

Our Client is a household name when it comes to Restaurants, Brasseries, Cafés or Bars, as well as their department stores throughout the country.

They urgently need an experienced Pastry Chef De Partie for their restaurant in Bristol to assist in the kitchen and keep it at the highest standard.

Requirements

Maintain a positive attitude towards staff, customers and any external contact

*

Liaise with the Head Chef with menu development and changes setting portion sizes and ingredients used, ensuring consistency with costing of dishes, keeping within GP margins. Guide and support the team to ensure these duties are carried out to the required standard

*

Manage the kitchen’s stock rotation, ordering and Mise-En-Place to keep within GP margins

*

Ensure that all menu items are ready for service at the appropriate times during the day

*

Produce and serve food in accordance with current authorised recipes and standards set

*

Help support any section of the Kitchen when required

*

Ensure that the department is maintained in a safe manner, free of hazards, and that the store Health and Safety Regulations are adhered to at all times

*

Maintain good care of equipment and utensils within the kitchen and apprise the Head Chef of any equipment or utensils requiring ordering

*

Always wear protective clothing as supplied when on duty and to ensure a very high standard of personal hygiene

*

Maintain a keen awareness of store security procedures and policies and to carry these out

*

Ensure that GP is maintained on all saleable items

*

Ensure that stocktaking and stock control procedures are followed

Qualifications and Experience required

*

Elementary food hygiene

*

Previous experience working with Pastry essential

*

Good knife skills
