Job Description: Finance Assistant / Payroll Admin
Responsibilities:
* Role reports to Group Finance Manager.
* Management of each companies Pay & Bill System. Each subsidiary will have its own independent Pay and Bill System. The Finance Assistant will be responsible for entering onto the system the details of all new contractors that the subsidiaries place with their clients. The GSC will also be responsible for entering details of each assignment as directed by the sales personnel of the subsidiary company.
* Entering and checking all time sheet information and bringing any questionable issues to the attention of the relevant consultant.
* Removing finished contractors from assignments.
* Ensuring that representatives of each subsidiary company are adequately trained on the pay and bill systems to deputise for the GSC during time of absence.
* Raising all invoices on behalf of subsidiary companies for the supply of temporary staff and ensuring they are sent out to the relevant external clients.
* Delivery of invoicing information to group accounting.
* Production of the weekly margin report from the pay and bill system and noting number of payments, turnover and payment amounts relevant to each consultant.
* Informing Group Accounting of invoicing requirements for Permanent placements.
* In conjunction with group accounting resolve the management of any invoicing disputes that may exist.
* Management of credit control functions on behalf of all group subsidiaries, to include:
* Applying for credit limits on behalf of subsidiary companies.
* Management of credit limits to ensure that companies are operating to the terms and limit set. Reporting of delinquent clients to subsidiary directors.
* Chasing of overdue invoices.
* Providing a weekly overdue report to subsidiary company directors
* Providing a monthly overdue report to group.
Salary: £24,000- per annum.
Holidays: 25 days holiday per annum, excluding bank holiday
Time: 8.45am- 5.30pm, 1 hour lunch break.
Bonus: Quarterly, discretionary bonus as directed by subsidiary directors.
