The Company
A reputable and leading employer in Telford are seeking to recruit a capable payroll officer to join their organisation in a fixed term job role.
The Opportunity
As Payroll Officer, you will work within an established team of 13 staff and will be accountable for:
* Processing monthly payroll
* Processing statutory payments and deductions
* Pensions administration and reconciliations
* Supporting with time and attendance and weekly payrolls
* Providing a confidential service to employees at all levels
* Submission of year end P35, P14, P60 and P11D doc’s
* Supporting with fleet, company car and salary sacrifice schemes
The Individual
A proven track record working in payroll/ personnel. CIPP qualification is desirable; in lieu of this experience of working in an end to end payroll position within the last 2 years will be considered. Knowledge and experience of recent/current legislation is paramount.
Experience working in a demanding and busy payroll team is a must. We are looking for capable and proactive professionals who are committed to delivering a first-class internal/external service.
