The Company
Seymour John are working with a reputable business to recruit for a Payroll Manager in Telford, who offer a pleasant and vibrant working environment.
The Opportunity
Working within a friendly and dynamic team, you will have a proactive approach and offer excellent customer service. We are looking for an experienced individual to provide management of the payroll function, to ensure an excellent service is provided across the business. Your duties will include:
* Management of the Payroll team, including disciplinary, performance management, performance reviews and development plans, absence management, holiday authorisation.
* The delivery of a high-quality end to end payroll service for two businesses with differing requirements
* Management of the corporate Time and Attendance systems
* Ensure that the fully integrated HR and Payroll system, for both businesses are managed/configured to ensure full compliance with UK statutory payroll requirements
* Initiate and participate in business initiatives which ensure continued statutory compliance and/or the delivery of the standard of service expected from an employer of choice
* Provide advice and support in all associated Payroll, Car Fleet Taxation, all other benefits, Pension scheme administration aspects to customers at all levels, both internal and external
* Delivery of weekly and monthly payroll service, to required schedule
* Full statutory and corporate compliance in all required Payroll
The Individual
Ideally you will hold a formal payroll management qualification or a minimum 5 years industry experience working within a similar role, and be able to demonstrate strong leadership/people management skills. We are looking for a candidate that can offer flexibility, resilience and persistence with a keen desire to support change and drive improvement.
The role is working 9-5 Mon to Fri, with free onsite parking, and excellent benefits including 25 days holiday, life assurance, and pension. Prompt application is recommended.
