Prep Chef

Are you passionate about fresh food preparation and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment? Our client in Luton is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Prep Chef to join their team. This role focuses on preparing sandwiches for display in a retail cabinet, ensuring they are fresh, appealing, and ready for customers to purchase.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare a variety of sandwiches and other grab-and-go items according to established recipes and quality standards
* Ensure food is neatly packaged and attractively displayed
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the preparation area
* Follow food hygiene and safety regulations
* Assist with stock management and replenishment
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a kitchen (experience with sandwich preparation is highly desirable)
* Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
* Strong attention to detail and presentation
* A proactive, reliable, and positive attitude
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
