Prison Chef Supervisor
Job Type : Contract, Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £15/hour
Contract Options is currently recruiting BAND 4 Chef Supervisor for a prison in Princetown, Devon.
The position will involve working on a shift pattern of 5 days out of every 7.
Candidates will be required to work with prisoners in the kitchen, supporting them to work in a safe and efficient manner, making sure that security is maintained. Duties will include allocating daily staff resources to activity with their Unit where appropriate, supervising and supporting staff and prisoners in all activities including food preparation and delivery, creating menus (incorporating any special requirements), checking receipt of deliveries of stock, and undertaking all duties of a Catering Supervisor as required.
Requirements:
* Clean DBS certificate
* Demonstrable 5 years' previous experience
* Food Safety, Hygiene, and Health & Safety knowlege
* Clean presentation
* Professional attitude
* Hard-working
