Location: Liverpool City Centre (Office based Mon-Thur with remote working every Friday, and the potential for an extra day remote in the future)
We are currently recruiting for a Product Manager to join an organisation based in the Liverpool City Centre area, to plan and direct the product management function of their UK hub.
You will be responsible for ensuring the on time, on budget delivery of products and projects across the business. Projects range from one-off presentation and training engagements to multi-year programmes of work. Our client works with businesses that are based all over the world so critical to the role is the ability to manage multiple workstreams, following similar processes, across multiple geographies.
Responsibilities:
Determine staffing and resourcing requirements, both internal and in a freelancer and consultant capacity
Recruit and train new staff as the PM team grows
Liaise with other internal departments to support them with product resourcing, timelines and overall workflow
Evaluate current product processes and systems whilst also planning and implementing new versions to maximise operating efficiency
Outline a clear roadmap for each product
Establish and maintain product controls
Formulate department policies and practices
Become a point of contact for stakeholders
Prepare reports and analysis on project progress
Review performance date and monitor productivity and goal progress
Requirements:
Minimum two years' experience in a Product/Programme Manager role
Holding or be working towards an accredited Project or Product Management qualification, preferably in an Agile or Scrum methodology would be desirable
A background in presentation or design would be ideal
