Production Cook / Kitchen Operative
Job Type : Permanent, Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £10 – £12/hour
Big Ant Group are currently seeking TWO Cooks / Kitchen Operatives for our Expanding client in Totnes.
We have TWO shifts available, Monday to Friday working either:
– Days (6am until 2pm)
– Nights (10pm until 6am)
Our client is a supplier of Vegan and Gluten-Free, solely organic food and sauces to some of the most well-known Supermarkets in the U.K and we are assisting to expand their team due to growth and their peak season.
Your role would be to work within the Kitchen Production environment, in the factory. Working to high standards and values to make sure that the finished product is kept at a safe high quality. You will be required to follow recipes, prep and weigh out ingredients and ensure food is kept to a safe standard. This position will require focus and organisation to multi-task and work to deadlines.
In this particular role, the ideal candidate will have experience within a kitchen as a chef or cook or working in a catering environment would be beneficial.
Please note, a successful applicant may need to be flexible for training on a different shift before moving onto the allocated shift.
Hourly wage is open for discussion depending on experience for the role.
The business may also offer over-time across a weekend which will be optional
