Production Operative

Salary : £9.45/hour

We are working with a local family-owned, award winning food production company who are looking to expand their team of production operatives. For 36 years they have been producing and supplying the local area with high quality food products, this is a fantastic opportunity to join their team.
This role will involve various tasks including,
* Operate machinery to make and pack ice cream
* Measuring of ingredients
* Cleaning/sterilising of equipment
* Maintaining records/monitoring forms
* Placing goods in and out of cold stores
* Keep workplace clean, hygienic and tidy to the highest possible standard
* Labelling of goods
* Assist production team in any other duties requested
Overalls, chefs’ trousers and hair nets and safety shoes are provided
Applicant must have a cheerful personality and the ability to work at a fast pace
Previous experience would be beneficial but is not required as full training will be given
Working hours are Monday – Friday 08:00-17:00 (1/2hr unpaid lunch break)
