Production Operative

Salary : £10.50 – £20.25/hour
Our client based in Brackley supply fresh food products into the retail and food service industries.

Production Operative
The role of production operative contributes to the ongoing success of the business and is a vital part of ensuring the product is of high quality. There are various departments you could work in which could include the preparation of the product, grading or packing. Within the various roles some of the duties will include:
Correctly placing product on the line
Cleaning equipment
Sorting of the product
Grading the product
Preparing the product for packing
Repetitive lifting of the product up to 2kg
Some sections involve pushing and moving dolavs of up to 500kg
Some sections involve heavy and light moving and pushing of products
Wearing the correct PPE
Following Health and safety procedures at all times
Adhere to food hygiene procedures at all times
There are two shifts available:
Days Monday – Friday working 4 days out of 5
Start times vary between 06:15 and 06:45 – 18:00
Twilight Sunday – Thursday working 5 nights 18:00 – 03:00 (some departments on Sunday only are 15:40-02:30)
Pay rate £10.5 (+£2 shift allowance for twilight shift ) – department dependent
Pay rate £13.5 (+2 shift allowance for twilight shift ) – department dependent
£300 sign on bonus after completing 12 weeks and accepting a contract.
A second £200 bonus after completing a further 13 weeks on contract!
