Salary : £9.05 – £11.69/hour
Great opportunity to work as a Production Operative for one of the UK's largest citrus & grape specialists.
Staffline is recruiting for a Production Operative to work in Huntingdon.
The rate of pay is:
Days:
Basic rate £9.05 per hour and skilled post 12 weeks £9.24 per hour
Nights:
Basic rate £9.35 per hour and skilled post 12 weeks £9.54 per hour.
(Overtime is available after 12 weeks working on-site. The rate for overtime is: days £11.31 and nights £11.69.)
Flexible shifts are available including days, nights, part-time, and weekends. You will be required to work 12-hour shifts. The hours of work are:
– Days 7:30am to 07:30pm
– Nights 7:30pm to 07:30am
Your Time at Work
As a Production Operative at this site, you will assist in managing the product flow through the line, quality sort produce and remove defects, ensuring product specifications are met.
Responsibilities will also include:
– Ensuring defects and poor quality are reported to the Line Leader
– Ensuring products are correctly packed to target in line with all company and customer expectations
– Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to a clean-as-you-go policy following a safe working practice
– Carrying out any additional tasks as trained and required
Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal Production Operative has a good eye for detail and is happy to work in a fast-paced food preparation environment.
You will be required to be flexible to meet the demands of the business with a can-do attitude.
You will need to be able to stand on your feet for between 10 and 12 hours each day and be required to lift boxes/cases up to 10kg in weight.
No previous experience is necessary as a Production Operative for this temporary opportunity, as full training will be provided.
Due to the location of the site, you should either have access to your own transport or live locally. Transport available from Peterborough.
