Production Operative – Days (Non Meat)

Salary : £9 – £9.30/hour
We are currently looking for Production Operative on the day shift for one of our clients in the Bunwell area, Norwich. Due to location, own transport is essential.
The shift is on-going and temp to perm for the right person alongside an immediate start is available. There will be a £0.30 attendance bonus per hour providing all agreed shifts are attended within the working week.
You will be working in one of 4 areas:
Packing – you will need to pack the prepared items in packs/boxes and prepare for dispatch.
Line work, Preparing mixtures to make pastry, this will be put in to pastry cases for loading into ovens for baking, this area is warm because of the heat from the ovens and warm clothing not necessary.
High Care -decorating products such as cheesecake with fruit topping, you will also be taught hand piping, this area will be cool as not to melt finished pastries and cakes, warm clothing required.
Cooking -you will be trained to operate mixes or similar to produce products from raw ingredients.
All roles will involve standing on the line and moving around the factory, there will be some manual handling involved.
