Production Supervisor
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £25000/annum
Production Supervisor need in York working for a food supplier who supply top grade food products across the UK & Ireland.
You will need to effectively plan and organise the labour on their lines to ensure the most efficient production output.
£25,000 per annum – overtime will be paid at 12.5%
Rota basis 5 days per week to include weekends and Statutory Bank Holidays.
Requirements:
* Ensure that all Hygiene and Health & Safety rules and procedures are followed by all operatives.
* Ensure that all operatives comply with quality and good manufacturing procedures.
* Ensure that all production KPI’s are achieved, and work to improve them.
* Drive efficiencies within the lines and department.
* Effectively communicate all Company information to all operatives on the line.
* Ensure that the Packhouse and other linked areas are kept clean and tidy, at all time. Using a ‘clean as you go’ rule.
* Ensure all orders are produced to the highest quality standard and within customer specification.
* Ensure all waste and resources are kept to a minimum.
* Ensure all documented details are recorded accurately and all changeover information is precise.
* Ensure the accurate recording of downtime and batch counter’s for KPI purposes
* Ensure the label check sheets are filled in correctly and verified.
Requirements:
* 2nd Level Education/Qualifications (e.g. GCSE, NVQ, Diploma)
* Basic Food Hygiene Qualification
* HACCP training
