Production Worker
Job Type : Contract, Full Time
Salary : £10.42 – £12.00/hour
An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client in the Northallerton area, who are looking to recruit a Production Worker. The succesful candidate will be manufacturing parts for agricultural equipment.
Hours of work: 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Tea break at 10am for 15 minutes, Lunch at 12noon for half an hour & Tea break at 3pm for 15 minutes.
Pay rate: £10.42 – £12.00, depending on experience.
The vacancy would suit someone who has previous experience in a manufacturing/engineering role, but this is not essential as full training will be given. You will be working alongside others as part of a manufacturing team.
The main responsibilities of the Production Worker role are:
* Perform a wide range of assembly tasks for the various parts that the client manufacture.
* Working on an assembly bench
* Operate equipment carefully and precisely due to the nature of the work.
* Quality inspection
The successful candidate, will have the following skills:
* Have experience and be comfortable working in a repetitive role
* Very good eye for detail.
* Good dexterity
* Be reliable and committed.
* Be able to work in a standing role.
* The ability to manage your time effectively and work unsupervised.
* A flexible approach to work
* High levels of accuracy with good numeracy and organisational skills.
* Due to the location of the site, your own transport is a must
* Desirable but not essential is previous experience using an Induction Brazing machine
