Project Engineer (Home Automation)

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced home automation project engineer with KNX experience has arisen with our client based at their head office in Sussex.
Our client is an established player within the home automation market place and has also delivered multiple bespoke building management systems for UK and overseas clients.
They are now looking to enhance their home automation team with an experienced KNX project engineer. Someone who is looking to further develop their career in a progressive and dynamic environment by becoming an integral part of the engineering team leading high residential projects.

The home automation project engineer (KNX) will be involved in varied and exciting role:
• Designing KNX software
• Meeting new and existing clients to discuss project requirements and managing a variety of home automation projects to the value of around £20,000
• Supporting the team of KNX engineers
What the ideal project engineer will look like:
Previous experience delivering high end residential solutions to clients
Have designed KNX software
Have project managed home automation projects up to £20,000
Electrical and software design experience.
AutoCAD Electrical experience
PLC and HMI writing experience in any or all of the following: KNX and Trend
Strong technical document writing skills using Microsoft Office products.
Confident and professional manner when communicating with customers.
Eligible to work in the UK
Full UK driving licence
Knowledge of residential AV control systems
Background from home automation or AV residential
Experience installing and servicing and/or design and commissioning AV equipment
A valid CSCS/ECS card
Candidates would ideally reside in the Kent or Sussex area.
