We’re supporting our client, a leading AV company based in Kings Norton, who are looking for a Project Manager to join their growing team. The successful Project Manager will have previous senior experience of project management and wide experience of live event and virtual events industry.

Job Summary: As a Project Manager, you will provide technical and production solutions to meet client’s needs, whilst maintaining excellent relationships with all stakeholders. You will be responsible for the planning, design, execution and controlling of each project.

Responsibilities for Project Manager:

* Delivering first class AV and scenic solutions for Live, Virtual and onsite Hybrid Events.

* Working in close partnership with agency and corporate clients. You will be the main point of contact for several clients and events simultaneously.

* Maintain key client relationships, be aware of all client requirements, and continually work hard to improve client satisfaction

* Taking and understanding client briefs and analysing requirements for both Live and Virtual work. Working closely to achieve all requirements and surpassing clients expectations.

* Creatively supporting the design of events and clients

* Preparing technical and production specifications and submitting cost effective client proposals, including, but not limited to CAD plans, detailed technical specifications, schematics and health and safety documentation.

* Attend site inspections for upcoming events collating detailed venue and event information.

* Selecting freelance crew and other third-party services including, but not limited to scenic, transport and specialist suppliers. i.e. International AV suppliers, SFX, Entertainment, Inhouse suppliers etc

* Provide an open line of communication with your clients and all other stakeholders, giving timely and efficient updates.

* Responsible for event project budget creation, management and reconciliation.

* On site at event – management of the entire process including onsite crew and other bought in services/ suppliers, safety management.

* Post event – detailed feedback and analysis of event with clients.

About You:

* Wide experience of live event and virtual event industry. Proven ability to handle events with technical budgets up to £250,000 and beyond, working with some of the UK’s largest event agencies.

* A production experience of live and virtual events including Audio, Video, Lighting, Rigging, vMix and Streaming Software, Set and Staging, CAD plans, and Health and Safety Management.

* Practical experience and understanding of Health and Safety legislation and requirements

* Working on own initiative and under pressure to deliver to tight deadlines

* Able to organise various elements required for delivering an event, strong logistics and scheduling.

* An ability to understand and look at the wider event as a whole and not just the technical aspects.

* AutoCAD

* H&S – IOSH Qualified

* Full Driving license

* Knowledge of AV systems

* Planning & organisational skills

* Excellent communication

* Self-starter who is motivated

* Analytical & Problem-solving skills

* Attention to detail

* Strong people management skills of onsite teams
