Salary : £22000 – £24000/annum

Our Client is a modern and professional company that works to make, package and sell high quality cocktails in a zero fuss, ready to serve manner. The company offers to brand the bottles specifically to their clients designs and then the products are delivered directly to the client’s door once they have been crafted.

Due to their expansion, they are looking to hire a Quality Assurance Officer, working alongside their technical team to guarantee the highest quality of their products as well as confirmation that they meet the Customers specification.

Responsibilities include:

* Completion of quality assurance checks throughout the process of producing customer products

* Conduct and record results of daily, weekly, and monthly checks such as scale records, temperature probes calibration and refrigeration equipment, downloading on a weekly basis data logger info and monitor.

* Check daily production paperwork and file in a way that facilitates easy retrieval.

* Carry out micro equipment and hand swabs, Allergen swabs, prepare samples for laboratory.

* Raw materials checks.

* QA positive release of product including the management of the reject and non-conformance database.

* Completion of various Internal audits including GMP, CCP and Traceability and ensure that corrective actions are implemented.

Requirements:

* Previous experience within a food manufacturing environment advantageous, but not essential.

* Level 2 food safety qualification.

* Excellent communication skills and be confident to speak to different departments across the company.

* Have a good level of written English, and have Microsoft Office IT skills, including Word and Excel.

* Attention to detail, highly organised and able to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment.

* Ability to maintain accurate records, analyse products and data.

This is a full-time and permanent position with shifts from Monday to Friday.

The salary will be between £22,000 and £24,000 per annum, depending on experience.
