Interaction Recruitment are seeking a Quality Assurance candidate on behalf our client based in Birmingham on a permanent basis
Duties of Quality Assurance
Identify that all produce entering & leaving meets the required
Conduct release checks of production handing & stock
Verify label checks
Check & book Samples into systems
Books waste accurately into the waste system
React & Respond to any rejections
Compliance Checks – Scissors, knives & Scales. Temperature and glass breakage checks.
Support with Audits
Complete reports
Work towards KPI’s
Complete day to day admin duties
Complete shift handover notes
Requirements of Quality Assurance Position:
Strong organisation & Communication skills (Written & Verbal)
Pro-active, Team player
Excellent attention to detail
Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
Confidence to challenge people and stop products with issues entering/leaving
Carry out tasks assigned by Senior staff and Management
Be a strong decision maker & be a forward thinker
Work to an agreed shift pattern (including nights if required)
Dress in attire prepared for cold conditions
Wear regulation PPE – adhering to companies hygiene policy
Details of Quality Assurance position:
4 on 4 off shift pattern
06:00-14:30 or 13:30 – 22:30 shifts
One hour lunch break (1x30mins, 2x15mins)
£(phone number removed) as level one (increases once trained up to L2)
