Quality Control Assistant
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £21000 – £22000/annum
Supertemps are working with an established, award-winning manufacturer that are at the cutting edge of food production and manufacturing. The company is recruiting for a permanent, full time Quality Control Assistant to join their expanding manufacturing site based near Pwllheli.
As the Quality Control Assistant your responsibilities will include:
Monitoring process operations by testing and assessment
Recording test results, handling data, organising the administration of documents to complete tasks
Documenting and quarantining material that is found to be outside agreed limits / unacceptable
Taking corrective action if a process or material is operating outside agreed limits
Interpreting the data collated and communicating when outside agreed limits to Managers and colleagues
Complying with Company Policies and procedures including; hygiene, housekeeping and Health & Safety
Assisting the Technical Manager with the Quality Management Systems
We are keen to see your CV if you have the following:
Experience of a Food production environment
Food Hygiene & Health & Safety certificates are desirable
Have a scientific background
Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent including Mathematics and English
Excellent communication skills written and verbal
Detail orientated with the ability to follow written procedures/instructions
Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
