My Spalding based client is now seeking a full time permanent Quality Controller to join their team.

The main responsibilities of this role include

• Check packaging and products coming into the company and on the packing line
• Check the label, to ensure that it is correct for the customer concerned
• Continually monitor the quality of the product both in store, being packed and on shelf life
• Maintain quality in line with customer specifications
• Undertake any other duties required by the Management team
• Check scales on line daily
• Prepare samples for customers

To be successful in this role you must have

• Experience within a similar role
• Experience within the fresh fruit or produce industry is desirable
• Must be numerate and have good communication skills

It is essential that you have a current driving licence as some of the work will be off site
